Yes, many designs can be changed to suit your taste.You can opt for a different colour background or text or choose to have more or less photo’s in your design.
Will my invitation look exactly the same as it does on my computer?
Colours can vary slightly from what you see on your computer screen to the final printed version, this can depend on your computer monitor settings or monitor brand. As all our cards are printed by professional print suppliers it can also depend on the material and ink it is being printed on. Due to these factors we can not be held responsible for colour variations, as it beyond our control
How many changes can I make to an invitation or announcement?
You can make changes up to 4 proofs, but within each of those 4 proofs you can make as many changes as you need, after you have received your 4 proof changes any further changes will incur a fee of $2 per change. Any errors made by Water Lilli Designs are not counted in these changes, they will always be done free.
Can I add my guests name to their invitation?
Yes we are able to do this at an additional charge of $1.00 per invite.

Once payment, information and photos are received, you will receive a proof via email within 24 hours.
If you have chosen a design only this will be emailed to you via email on the same day.

Can I use professional photo’s on my design.
Yes, only if you have written permission from the professional photographer of the images. By sending us and requesting for these professional images to be placed on your invitation, you are agreeing to our strict specification that you have written permission from the photographer of the image to use and re-print these images on your invitation. By agreeing to this, Water Lilli Designs will not be held responsible for any legal issues regarding the use or printing of these images, the responsibility will be placed on the customer from which the images belong.
What size should my picture be? As the pictures are the most important part of your invitation or announcement we recommend that all photos be at least 1200x1800 at 300 dpi (dots per inch). Be sure to set your digital camera to the highest resolution setting possible, if you need more information on how to change the resolution setting please check your owner's manual for details.We ask this to ensure the best quality design for you!
Should I edit my photos before sending them? No, we can do it for you, we can edit the photos in any way that you would like free of charge. We are able to crop, sharpen, reduce red-eye, and make color photos black & white. If there is anything specific that you would like done to a photo before it is used, such as having a specific part cropped out or fixing a blemish, please just note that in the email with your photos. You may also attach your cropped photos, as well as the originals, so we can see how you would like them cropped, please do send the originals for us to work with though.We are however, unable to sharpen already blurry or low resolution (grainy in appearance) images.
Are envelopes included? Yes, we include the envelopes at no extra charge to you.
What size are your photo cards?
Due to popular demand we offer two sizes 4x6” or 5x7” for our rectangular designs and 5x5" for our square designs.
What type of paper will my design be printed on?
Water Lilli Designs are printed on high-quality professional photographic paper in either a matte or gloss finish.The result will be similar to a printed photo. You can also choose your photocards to be mounted on white metallic cardstock.
How do I send my photos(s)?
In order to keep our prices low we have chosen not to invest in an file hosting/upload program. We simply ask that you email the photo(s) you'd like to use to waterlil@waterlillidesigns.com. Please remember to place your last name in the Subject line.
Photo Taking Tips
Camera Setting
It is very important to set your digital camera to the highest resolution setting possible with the least amount of compression. Images need to be at least 1800x1200 pixels at 300dpi for a 4x6 photo to get the best quality. A higher resolution works even better! This will ensure that your photos will print clearly and fits in your design correctly.
Lighting
Using natural light will often produce the best photograph. Take your baby's photo near a bright window or a room lit up by natural sunglight. Avoid direct sunlight. Use of a soft light from a lamp is better than flash. Proper lighting can help avoid blurry and grainy photos
Background
Since the focus of the photograph should be on your subject avoid using backgrounds with lots of distraction. Use a white or light solid colored blanket or sheet as the backdrop. If photographing your baby dress them in solid colored outfits or no outfit at all. Get down to your baby's level while taking the photograph. You can photograph your baby in a sitting or lying position. Use a pillow, sofa or chair covered with a sheet or blanket to prop your baby up. Sleeping babies can also make beautiful photo announcements. Center the baby in your photo. Make sure all you can see if the baby and the backdrop in the photo. Take lots of photos in order to capture the perfect shot.

Keep in mind that you do not need an account with Paypal to make your credit card payment. Once your order goes to the PayPal screen to finalize payment, the order details will not all show up; but we assure you that your order confirmation from us will contain all details of your order. PayPal's payment page simply cannot display all details.
